OT: Politics & News... Have at it.

And in more news about the evils of being bilingual, when a politician who begins his speeches in French and translates them into English, the mayor of longueuil wants bill 101 changed so that city council meetings can only happen in French.

That's right boys and girls, it's not enough to speak in both french and English, only French will do.

Keep the one made out to Trudeau. Give it to a family that needs it. A Liberal gov't will.

Pretty clever.

They still don't get it. I watched on TV and they made a whole big ceremony out of taking down the flag, which only serves to legitimize it as a symbol to be respected. In reality it is a flag of sedition, no more worthy of reverence than the ISIS flag. They should have just taken it down without ceremony or fanfare and burned it.

Getting goofy in EuroDisney. Greece might get turfed from the Euro, the Finnish government might collpase if they aren't turfed (yep), even Frau Merkel is vulnerable to some grumpy right wingers back home, the Italians are expected to yell at the Gemans that enough is enough, and apparently the French have been going behind Germany's back by sending a team of financial experts to Athens to work with the Greeks.

Bonkers.
