someone should ask him if slavery was so good whether he would be willing to walk in chains for 3-4 weeks in Africa, then do the middle passage on a sailing ship, then pick cotton or sugarcane for years.

And this is what's wrong with the leadership of the GOP, the so-called "adults". Instead of constantly pandering to these tobacco-chewing, bib overall wearing, anti-intellectual, gun totin' hillbillies they need to articulate something that will resonate with Americans who are intelligent enough to know how to eat with a knife and fork. As Bill Maher is fond of saying, this is a problem that is taking care of itself. No need for the US to intervene. Let the Iranians, Russians, ISIS kille each other. The main reason why people in the mid-east hate America is because they're there, taking up space on their soil.
