OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

Not one to buy books anymore, but eyeballing Kenji’s brick re: woks. Might actually be useful?
Hear good things. It's more of a bible than a cook book. I have his food lab book and it's the same idea. I find the recipes are fine but the beauty of his stuff is learning from the science about when to do things and why and apply them to your own cooking.

Don't like hardcopies?
I have heard this is a thing, it's not makin used books any cheaper unfortunately.

I like audiobooks, I love the good audiodramas, but I also enjoy reading and having books.

I need the tactile feel of the pages for some reason.

I am conflicted.

I love the work ethic.

And I love the design.

And I love riitz crackers.

But I can't quite accept ritz crackers as part of a charcuterie plate.

ritz cracker is about as good as it gets in a Publix
