At least you have a lot in common with high end newbie hockey players, who are widely known for their refined taste and intellect.

Eataly sells this amazing cheese sandwich at its counter that has just cheese, raw tomato, and mint on thin bread, and it is delicious in its simplicity and sold out by the afternoon every day.

open faced cucumber-Havarti rye bread sandwiches with spicy mustard is one of my favourite things to eat

Local grocery store has what they call "Adriatic mix" with chopped sundried tomatoes and herbs.

That in olive oil, balsamic, grated parm and fresh garlic as a bread dipper is awesome
 
Spent some time in NZ - tomatoes, cheese and marmite sandwiches are a thing. Might whip one up this morning!
