OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

...and their chicken is a little sketchy

The Ontario Superior Court has thrown out a $210-million defamation lawsuit launched by Subway against CBC, which had reported the sandwich chain may have been selling some poultry products that were only 50 per cent chicken DNA.

The Marketplace investigation met the "'public interest' test," was an example of investigative journalism, and therefore is protected under Section 137.1(3) of the Ontario Courts of Justice Act, Justice E.M. Morgan said in his ruling.

So you're saying that I shouldn't eat there?

50% chicken means 50% vegetarian. Seems like a good first step for people looking to cut out meat IMO.

It's fresh sawdust though. Subway is damn healthy.

Less meat ☑️
Eat fresh ☑️

True true. I have a thing where I have to go to McDonalds in every city I visit to try one of their unique menu items despite never even doing McDonalds here. And the unique menu item is never good. But I'll never stop doing it. It's simply mandatory.

Occasionally I enjoy a McDonalds or Subway meal. It’s not like I’m expecting a gourmet experience.

My wife always ordered the tuna. Always. I told her that wasn't tuna she was eating. Now she's miffed and wants to know wtf they were feeding her.
