OT: The News Thread

Wouldn't any money won for Hernandez just go to lawyers and victim's families anyways? He had to be in horrendous debt before this second trial came up. How was Baez being paid? Rumour is Baez got paid by Casey Anthony in blowjobs, but who knows if that is true.
Not sure about lawyers but the victim has to get a judgment (not sure if have) for wrongful death. Then the family needs to go all douche and take the money from a young child whose dad offed himself (granted the murdered guy might have children too).

Settle and give both half.

Dad was a murderer

Victim was the one murdered.

young child or not, I know which family I want having the money.... especially cause it wont be the kid getting the money, it will be the baby mama and she knew exactly the type of person she was engaged to.

Split the money between the families of the three dead people (While he was not guilty in criminal sense, due to needing proof beyond a reasonable doubt, I still think they have a good case under civil standard).

Why exactly is the murderer's daughter more entitled to a comfortable, financially well-off life than the victim's family?

A) her dad earned the money.

B) the victim was a criminal iirc and had no real source of income

C) why should his family aka parents benefit over a child, they can care for themselves

Starting to look like Trump and Brexit were just embarassing one-offs for the once leaders of the free world.

True, until you consider that the French might elect a 39 year old investment banker who has never won anything until yesterday with no party behind him as president while the two establishment parties couldn't make the runoff.

Then you realize the anti establishment vote in France is alive and well.

Anti-establishment and feverent populist nationalism are not the same though.

Thats the problem with Trump and Brexit, as opposed to say Bernie Sanders or Macron (not that Sanders and Macron are he same, they are quite different). Just the point is that not all anti-establishment candidates look the same.

There are strong parallels of populist nationalism in Brexit, Trump, Le Pen.

Investment banking is pretty establishment for most people but I do see what you mean Predators87.

Still he is up against Trump with a vag who is hated by most non skinhead French.

Le Pen has left the National Front for some reason or another. Seems like a bit of a desperate move to shake the stink of her party from her for long enough to bring in more votes in the 2nd round.
