JW don't believe really in an immortal soul (only for a select few that are chosen to go to heaven and rule with Jeebus), rather that Jehoober will destroy all the "wicked" people and they'll get to spend eternity rebuilding the earth and cleaning up dead bodies. So it's more that they think I'll be destroyed and not be able to partake with them.
I know right? One thing I will stay, the indoctrination is real. I have existential crisis more than most...I know I will die at some point and it's not a big deal, because you know everyone does, but when you are brainwashed to expect a bonus round at the end of your life just realizing that at some point you will cease to exist is, unsettling.

Probably but there are a lot more male sociopaths out there that have done this type of thing.
This is why I don't like being put under a general anesthetic. I was put under once when I was about 10 years old and I'm still freaked out about how everything went black and I didn't dream but could still sense time passing, like being consciously unconscious. In my late 30's I had to get a corneal transplant and opted for a local anesthetic instead, even though it was eye surgery.
Never underestimate the power of the pussy. She was hot and blonde and these guys all wanted to get with her so they cut her the kind of slack that a man or a more homely woman would never get. Her looks were literally part of the con, maybe the most important part.

Organized religion is about social control. Religious faith as it applies to believing in "the hereafter" is a lot of wishful thinking and a defense mechanism against contemplating one's own non-existence.
