The defending nba champion golden state Warriors defeated the kings 112-116 in game 5 and take a 3-2 series lead . First time the road team has won in this homer series. Steph Curry with 31 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. DeAaron Fox scored 24 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds for the sacramento kings in a losing cause.
The 5th seeded Knicks win 102-96 and eliminate the 4th ranked cavs in game 5 in cleveland. They win the eastern first round series 4-1. Jalen Brunson the best scorer for NYK with 23 points. Donovan Mitchell the best for the cavaliers in a losing cause with 28 points, 5 assists and 7 rebounds. First playoff series win for NY since 2013, so 10 years ago, when the knicks had carmelo anthony, jr smith, iman shumpert etc.

That was a special special performance…..the fact he told the team before hand to just put all their trust in him, and hed take care of things…made it all the more incredible. (although maybe that played a role in everyone else looking like shit, lol)
Looney being such a beast on the boards all series was pretty amazing too.

as good as he is, it's really hard to build a team around a tweener like Sabonis. can't shoot enough to play on the outside, not big enough to play on the inside.

Sabonis is more of a late career Marc Gasol type big. Still fucking fantastic, but best used as a glue guy trying a team with 2 scorers together (he's criminally underrated defensively, he's so mobile on switches) than as a feature guy.
