I never wanted a tank, and don't think this would be a tank move either. Our rotation is really thin and pretty bad. Turning Pascal into a bundle of picks and then 2-3 guys who would be actual improvements in our rotation is win-winish for me. It's not the type of basketball trade that I want, but it would give management a great opportunity to make a big trade in the summer and get some shooting & defence in free agency. If the core moving forward is Scottie-IQ-RJ, I can ride with that, but I want a rotation that is 10 deep of professional players.

I don’t like trading for late firsts but If the pacers are floating 3 firsts you have to listen. That’s been a lottery team the past few years. I think you have a good shot at a couple of top 10s out of that.
