OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

I had checked the guide earlier but it wasn’t listed it so just assumed it would be a evening game. Obviously I missed the best part. 😟
 
Trade for pitching now. Offence is clearly ready and young and cheap right now. We don’t know if we’ll have Semien next year. Plenty of prospect capital to bolster the rotation and make the pen legit

On the flipside, can you imagine the current lineup but adding in someone like Gallo to it as well?
 
Gallo is among my least favourite type of players but admittedly would make the lineup even more formidable. His BB% has skyrocketed this year, I approve of that. He would replace Grichuk, hopefully?

The Jays should also trade for Roughned Odor and then immediately DFA him. Maybe Texas will pick him up again (they’re paying his salary anyway), making them even worse.
 
The traditionalist in me hates that, but the guy who could barely stand to watch 18+ innings in one day at the height of my love for baseball as a kid thinks that's a pretty awesome change.
 
They started it last year in the shortened season. Apparently they’ll probably revert back to the full 9 innings next year. I personally like it this way but tradition and whatever.

Yep. There's a part of me that knows it skews with stats and is not pure. But it's nice to see a complete game now and then, and get through 2 games in 4 hours and change vs 6+ that a full 9 would take, so much nicer.
 
Yeah. Having said that, I haven't watched a full jays game in probably two years, so I'm likely ineligible to vote on the matter these days.
 
I’m hoping to get to at least one Jays game at Rogers Centre before the season ends. Its been so long.
