OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

If Schneider can play LF capably, that’s a big potential boost to the lineup. They really need to be able to sit at least one of Varsho or KK against LHP.

And if Clement is at least somewhat legit he can play 3B/2B vs LHP with IKF at the other spot and it's at least somewhat decent looking. At least its righties in the lineup.

i assume you are aware that if he was willing to sign this deal 5 weeks ago he probably would have been able to sign this deal with multiple teams 5 weeks ago?

so judging the fucking market is waiting until the end of training camp to sign anyone? get the fuck out of here with this nonsense. As if you wouldn't then have spent the entirety of spring training crying about how they didn't sign anyone. That doesn't even get into issue of whether particular players would have wanted to come here or not.

Sincerely, fuck off.

He went pretty early and hard for fucking IKF and his 2/15, Green at 1/10, and KK at 1/11.

One of those deals is the clear cut, derp potato worst of the offseason that has other GM's openly mocking Ross.

The other two, are meh to bad, and even worse when you factor in team need and fit.

Now he signs Turner over JDM, cause presumably JDM was asking for too much, where they preferred the lesser cost ( that said its entirely possible that these guys actually like the fact Turner has a glove, i mean shit, they think IKF is a good option as OF4 and that Biggio is good in multiple spots). The Mets were clearly good with either, or fucking Belt who still doesnt have a job and probably takes less than JDM

They paid 8M AAV to a guy who's a complete wild card and probably wotn make the team until June, and has never thrown a pitch in the majors.

Every last move this guys made this offseason was either rushed, ill advised, an overpay or any combination of the 3

If you cant seriously accuse them of misjudging the market this offseason ( for at least the second time) and for how they choose to evaluate players now, you simply have to be some sort of contrarian at this stage because the evidence is there
