Hey, last year at this point the Leafs were on their way to a series win and the Jays were off to an 18-9 start. This year is much worse, thanks very much.

Weird spot. The rotation and bullpen are clearly a pretty strong group. Having Vlad and Bo no show this year has been a major factor in where we are in the standings.
These 2 were supposed to be the cornerstones of our offense. Vlad has looked like a mid tier 1B for the majority of his career. Getting to a point where I don’t think he’s worth resigning long term. At some point you come to terms that he’s not what you’d hoped he’d be.
If you’re not resigning Bo (dumb decision) then this is the year you trade him. Unfortunately that means you’re leaving that trade decision to the current management group. Who are we kidding, Shapiro isn’t getting fired anytime soon. Rearranging deck chairs.
