Obviously we’re leading up to being 2nd best in the Soto sweepstakes buuuuttttttt if they somehow get Vlad Bo and Soto all signed I’ll go back to being a Shatkins shill.
 
So how are we going to afford supposedly Max Fried, Anthony Santander, Ha-Seong Kim and Vlad extension with 20 mill?

Speaking of Vlad, he’s besties with Soto, playing video games and chumming around. Many would see that as a good thing but I think Soto signs elsewhere with the intention of Vladdy following next year. Yankees could put a stop gap a 1B and go for him. Mets same thing if they don’t re-up Alonso.

Going to be a lot of mediocre and disappointment from this off-season yet again.

I can buy them being in on the SP market, because spending market value on FA SP is what these guys love, the fact that they identify good ones isn’t the flex they think it is. Having a 100m+ rotation and shit bats and a shit pen isn’t good, fucking develop some starters internally, you losers. I can buy Fried, or Severino ( awful idea) zero chance Sasaki or Burnes

Lastly fucking Ross was actually flexing again about their scouting in the Asian market which has yielded exactly nothing, and thinks their pursuit of Ohtani shows us as a desired market, fuck off

I’m okay ish on Gleyber/Kim but that latter is hurt and doesn’t hit for power and frankly Wagner at 2B is one of the internal solutions I kinda dig.
