When we first booked it was mykonos and Santorini only and then they dropped mykonos for Athens...which I was not too jazzed about..but I wasn't going to cancel. We're doing the cruise with our friends and then we are off to do our own thing and they theirs

no, just universal and WDW, wife has a conference she is speaking at (ILTA) so son and I tag along, get 5 free nights on her firm and then go to the parks. We added Universal and two at Grand Floridian at the back end. I see though that YVR now has direct flights to Miami so soon
 
After a day at see today we landed in Piraeus and Athens. Did the Parthenon of course and it wasn't as hot as it has been in recent days. 34 but there was a bit of a breeze. The guide said it wasn't too busy.

Tomorrow. The black sand beach in Santorini for the day. Then last stop Dubrovnik.
 
Couple of days ago decided to book a last minute flight to London for mid-August. Wife and kid haven't been there before. I went there years ago. Wondering how it has changed.

Interestingly, aside from all the glory of London, the highlight of my trip was going to a library (yes didn't have a cell phone at the time) and reading this: Toronto signs Corson, Roberts - The Globe and Mail


Chances of another BIG move this August? if the Leafs land someone noteworthy, then I will start a "Get me to London" fund. All Leafs fans here shall contribute to it annually if they want to see the team make big moves.
 
My summer has involved several road trips to several states this year. Basically catching up with people I haven't seen in years. Tiring but fun.

I saw him at a lounge at Pearson years ago and my god he looked about 20 years older than he looked on tv. It was pretty sad. You wouldn't want to punch him.

I once was watching Larry King Live years ago with my parents and a caller, instead of telling them they were simply from "Toronto" chose to tell the phone screener, "Etobicoke". Having Larry say that word live on the air was golden.

Anyone done Puerto Rico and strayed outside of San Juan? Looks like wifey and I are booking 15 days in mid-late december and are looking to turn it into more of a roadie/backpack rip around the Island this time. Stayed in San Juan last time we went.
 
I would recommend Ponce. Drier climate but fun and different from San Juan. And definitely hit El Yunque man.

Have you booked? I have a good friend with an air bnb in Puerto Rico.
