Get the Cinque Terre train pass if you’re staying for ~72 hours or more. It covers the trains and buses between the villages (train is super convenient.) And if you plan to hike the Blue Trail you’ll need it, they check at all the trail heads.

Are you taking the ferry from Greece to Bari?
 
Couple of discoveries we made in the village that may be of use:

-There’s a place called Il Trogi in the marina area that serves takeaway spritz. Kinda fun on warm nights - Madame was particularly happy.
- Fried seafood in paper cones. There are several places on the main drag.

So I'm looking to do a trip this fall. Most likely one of those "solo" group tours. Anyone have experience with them? Was looking pretty hard at a Morocco tour. Looked pretty awesome.
 
So I'm on the cruise part of my European /italy trip and today we were in Split Croatia.

Tomorrow....a day at sea...then Santorini, Athens, Dubrovnik....

We're then driving to Cinque Terre to stay in Riomaggiore for four days...then driving back up to venice for the final three days. I'll post a pic of the hotel building we are staying in riomaggiore.

Just did an Aegean cruise, Santorini is nice but I preferred Mykonos and Patmos.

Off to WDW and Universal in 2.5 weeks
