OT: Vacations

With all this sunscreen talk I decided to book for Cabo.

Doing resort thing with my family (my family, my parents, my 3 brothers and partners, all the kids). We are just by San Jose.

Any suggestions on things to do there? I've heard the golf is good. It is end of whale season as well but anything else? Or even specific restaurants to check out?

One good thing about it being 40 below in Edmonton was the passport for my 2 month old took only an hour. That is door to door. Driving, getting the photo, turning in application (only 1 person ahead if us), and the driving home.

Lived in Scotland for 5 years and it's awesome. But there's so much to see and do in Ireland I personally would focus on that one place unless there's something in particular in Scotland that's important to you.

I always try to add a second country in my trip, but I'm afraid it'll be too much.

Yeah I've been on those trips to Europe in my 20s where I just tried to pack as many countries in as possible and I think I'm too old for that shit now. I'd rather pick one place and explore a lot more/make it more leisurely but if I have a whole extra week I was considering going to Edinburgh too.

This is us too. We rent an apartment in a village we like and plant with some day trips.

Questions:

1) Iceland? Actually a real place? I'm skeptical
2) Should I go there? I'm thinking yes. Oddly I'm less skeptical about this than whether or not it's a real place
3) How offended will a Mexican be by the weather in September?
