I only went to a couple places there. Forget the name of the place I liked best, but I think it was the one with a long lineup that claimed to be the inventor of pizza.

Heh. Saw the place I went to afterwards on David Chang's Netflix show and you're right .. he's only been doing it for 25 years. He's a noob by Japanese standards.

Yup. Admittedly I've never been in Napoli but I've had neopolitan style in Tokyo and Toronto. It's decent in Toronto but Tokyo blew me away. It's the only way to go. Wish I could replicate if at home without spending thousands on a wood burning oven.

Still have my family town as tops though. Nothing better than getting pizza to go wrapped up in newspaper type shit and continuing your long day of walking.

Curious what else it could cook. Might put a helluva sear on a rib-eye.
 
Yeah, good BBQ and a legit pizza stone. Pre heat the pizza stone on high for like 30-40 minutes and you're good to go.
 
Have to agree with mindz and Zeke on the BBQ pizza. Def the way to go making it at home.

Ps. In Aruba. Like others have said there isn't much to see. The strip is great for dinner and entertainment. So far so good. The locals are really nice. Gf and I feel really safe going out at night. Would def recommend.

Yeah, I've gone to temptations, however not since they finished the renovations.

If that was too tame for you, hedonism in Jamaica is a real eye opener.

You're not running into seaweed issues? I'm in Playa del Carmen right now and the beach is completely unusable due to the sargassum/seaweed. Gonna have to head over to Cozumel this weekend to have any chance at beach time.

Did a Miami - Key West road trip a couple weeks ago. Same deal the whole way down.
 
Anyone ever been to a Panama Jacks resort before? Specifically in Playa?

Thinking about taking the dagos there over winter.
