OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

Only thing I've noticed empty shelves for lately is flour, yeast, and all Lysol/anti-bac soap products.

Toilet paper is all good now. Even though Wal-mart had the meat sign posted, they seemed to have plenty.

i heard there were issues with farmers not getting full crops in the ground
so now is a good time to have a garden if you want fresh produce

i bought some meat grinder / sausage maker attachment for my stand mixer
where do i look for home made sausage ?
It's something I've done from way back in the old country since I was a baby pretty much so I do it by memory. Just did a quick google and this video seems pretty good. It seems like this might be a good place to start but I'm not gonna watch the whole video. I'm sure it's fine.

I made some with chef friends a few times -- we did it in a backyard when temp was about 5 C (fridge temp)

make sure your lean meat/fat ratio is about 65/35

mix in salt and whatever aromatics you like....and it's very simple to try before you commit to casing them. just take some of your mix (with salt an spices) and flatten it like a McSausage patty, Cook it....taste it....and adjust seasoning

the trickier part is casing them properly, and storage to dry them out.

this guides you through it

Cost me $10 US when I originally got it in the states but that is one of the better deals I've seen in Canada. I got the annoying gay troll edition.

Sons of Kent brewery (Chatham, ON) has officially made my good list. This 8-Track strong IPA is legit.

Though their sour was mediocre at best.

This bitch taking white privilege to new heights. I'm almost impressed. If you want to laugh read the comments on the article. 10/10 comedy.

Do you think that people are baking bread, photographing it, and then throwing it away? Karen, they are eating it. They are eating the bread, Karen.

:ROFLMAO:

Yeah, but she was into bread before it was cool. I can relate. I saw Arcade Fire play in front of 150 people at the Salvation Army in Montreal.

I never forgave them for continuing to release new material, winning awards, doing press junkets, agreeing to headline massive festivals. Why did things have to change for the better for them?
