I’ve been keeping tabs on this train wreck for a little while. So, this announcement is seemingly good news despite the pain it will obviously cause.

But this pain is a consequence of Erdogan beclowning himself previously. If you want evidence of what happens when populists charlatans are at the levers rather than experts, here it us. (Kinda like the ~1 million excess COVID deaths in the US…)

Anyway, food for thought the next time someone rants about our central banks.

IDF arrested "very senior" Hamas officials in Shifa but cannot disclose the names due to ongoing investigations, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said.

The IDF announced on Thursday that in its four-day operation in Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, it has now killed around 140 terrorists from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as arrested around 650 additional terrorists.
