Still boggles my mind that Prigozhin gave up and turned back instead of rolling right up to the Kremlin.

Especially since he should’ve known better than anyone that in the Russian game of thrones, you win or you suffer a fatal “accident” shortly thereafter. There is no middle ground.

Suspect the relative ease in which Prigozhin mercenary force moved within Russia might've influenced Ukraine's decision to plan a move such as this currently.
