Habs were never getting anything better than Laine in any trade and fits in perfectly into the rebuild

His first job is to change the culture , too many issues the last few years

They are brutal at player development so that is key if they are going to improve

Harris just for a likely high second round pick is a good trade. And then getting Laine too for him . . .

Harris had no future here. He's under 6 feet and that undersized role is clearly going to Lane.
