I don’t mind him when he does in-depth reporting but it’s when he shares his opinions that he comes severely short.

Probability would state if LAK had offered the rumored package there would’ve been a deal announcement by now - fact there hasn’t been one would imply teams are not willing to meet Chevaldayoffs acquisition cost.

Which in turn would lead one to believe Chevaldayoff is trying hard to create market competition when there is minimal traction… if any

Trouba situation was identical to PLDs with rumors aplenty but at days end the acquisition cost was Pionk + 20s pick… looking like a repeat situation

I think he’s wrong in both the contract cost and the trade cost. I don’t see teams offering the moon for PLD when they can just wait a year (Tkachuk he is not) nor is the supposition of a 9M contract ask justified.

I like PLD but felt more confident about landing him when he didn't open the market for the Jets. It's just basic math.

I think 9M comes from his own ass, he’s been throwing this number for almost 2 months with really bad comparable and he’s digging his heels trying to justify it. Jesper Bratt’s contract just invalidated him completely.
