Lots of interesting series in the East.

FLA over WAS in 5
TB over TOR in 7
PIT over NYR in 7
BOS over CAR in 6

COL over NAS in 5
CAL over DAL in 7
LAK over EDM in 6
MIN over STL in 7

Am I the only one that loves seeing Vegas miss the playoffs? Such a shit franchise.
I didn't like all the hype about them at the beginning of the year...and right to the end really. The pundits still thought they were going to make the playoffs with a few games to go. They had not shown much fortitude against the Habs in the playoffs, so I couldn't see the hype. I was much wiser. I went ahead and picked the Islanders to win the Cup.

Not going against the grain much there. But somebody usually throws a major upset. Perhaps Dallas.

Tampa Bay for Cup over Colorado. At least at this point.

I think the Carolina - Bawstun & the St. Louis - Minny series are easily the two best series in the first round. Those should be the most balance & fun to watch.

Toronto - Tampa Bay looks like it'll be fun... on paper. I think it's going to be a pretty one-sided beating, though.

I don't really care much about who wins & loses, as long as Vancouver & Bawstun get eliminated. Halfway there.

I just want good hockey, and it's always great to see legacies built.

I'd like to see one of Colorado, Minny, Florida or Toronto win. St. Louis as well because Scandella's on the team. The rest of the teams, meh.
