Since Michel Goulet of the Nordiques, I've never seen anyone seem to hate playing hockey as much as Dvorak.

Problem for Kapanen is that he can’t go to Laval, but looks like a player for sure.

I fucking hate those European clauses.

I hate it when players, who are more than ready to make the jump to the AHL, choose not to because it's either NHL or Europe, or they stay in the NCAA for a third or fourth year. Like, do you want to be an NHLer or not? Sean Farrell being the most recent example in this organization.

Kapanen should be in Laval this year with Engstrom. And if he's too good for Laval, he'll get called up and stick with the team. He'd almost assuredly be neck & neck with Beck as the first probable call-up in case of injury.

Now it's a choice between, do we keep him in the NHL all year because we have no choice or do we let him waste his time in Europe?
