A third liner you can slot up the lineup if needed. Big body, good leadership, good on face offs. He might fetch more from a western team that is more familiar with him. Good playoff insurance for a contender.

Monahan for Rutger McGroarty would be excite me to no end.

A more realistic option, though?

Monahan for our 2nd round pick (originally traded to Arizona for Dvorak) and the rights to Dmitry Rashevsky.

The only problem with Winnipeg is they don't have a ton I'd be interested in.

Rutger McGroarty is #1 by a longshot. Chaz Lucius & Brad Lambert are interesting, but not the end-all-be-all. Don't think they have a single other prospect I'd be interested in.

Otherwise, Winnipeg has all their notable picks over the next three seasons minus this year's second.
