I would like Dobson “added” not replacing ..

Also, I don’t think this years draft class is all that to begin with

Can any of them (Martone / Misa / Schaefer etc) turn out to be as impactful as Dobson ? Maybe…. vs a bird in the hand w Dobson.

Dobson - Redenbacher- potentially Mailloux as RD w Hutson - Guhle - Xhekaj / Engstrom / other is a solid young D group

Apparently Schaefer is for real, but it’s unlikely we’ll have the top pick. We’re more likely to land in the 4-6 area. But, if we do have a shot at # 1, I would not trade the unprotected pick.

Trade the Calgary pick for sure.

Hawks are missing the playoffs 8 years in a row and have nothing to show for it on their roster other than a midget center doing Hyundai commercials .

I highly doubt they go that route for that miniscule shot at Gavin

Probably the second hardest thing to find in hockey next to an elite centre.

A perfect age for the team and still young enough to improve.

Guhle Dobson top pair with Hutson on the second pair. Yes please.

Unfortunately I don't see any scenario where he is available. If isles are rebuilding. He stays. If they are retooling. He stays. If they are adding. He stays.
