I would like Dobson “added” not replacing ..

Also, I don’t think this years draft class is all that to begin with

Can any of them (Martone / Misa / Schaefer etc) turn out to be as impactful as Dobson ? Maybe…. vs a bird in the hand w Dobson.

Dobson - Redenbacher- potentially Mailloux as RD w Hutson - Guhle - Xhekaj / Engstrom / other is a solid young D group

I'd rather have this years firsts than Reinbacher and beck.

Habs won’t be end up with a top-5 pick to begin with IMO - sitting 6OA today… likely 9OA by Sunday AM w climb into teens thereafter as season progresses - adding an asset like Dobson only helps the push for a wildcard spot

I think so too. I doubt he gets traded in any circumstances, short of him saying he won't re-sign long-term in NYI. However, I like the discussion & thought process behind it.

But my point of contention is people saying they wouldn't give up Owen fucking Beck to acquire him. When people say HabsFans overrate their prospects like no other fanbase, this is exhibit A. I can perfectly understand why some don't want to trade Reinbacher, but Owen Beck?

I don’t think teams see our 2nd round pick or Kapanen as highly.
