Rumors: 2024-25 Season

Only game in town , they will profit watching monkeys on ice , let the regime rebuild properly

b) 20 brutal bandaid patching years , what is a few more

c) fans can boo all they want , just wait for the cheering

d) Regime should be retooling every year based on performance and team outlook

Thats not enough to contend unless Mailloux is a 1D , Guhle is McDonough , team finds a goalie , our 5th pick turns into a star and the mentioned above take it up a few notches .

Roster only has about 7 bodies that will be around by then

All NHL fans attending games are paying big money so all are owed competitive teams . . . but that’s not how it works. Some are better run than others. C’est la vie.

Geeman says the paying customer can go fuck themselves. If you and I ran our practices that way, we would have no clients.
 
I think it is quite possible that the Keller's overreacted to the news and thought better of it by deleting.

I'm not saying it will be successful but the window with the current group isn't forever.

Of course trades, signings, and more drafting will occur.

4 years ago we had Domi as our best forward.

The only hab from that team that will start next year is Gallagher. (price, Byron, drouin were also on the team this year ).

4 years is a long time

We are in decent shape here - CC and Slaf being the top 2 wingers take the pressure off the rest of the system/free agents/trades
If another LW emerges as pretty good than we have some trade chips

This is an area of concern - we will still have Anderson and Gallagher on the team at this point - neither is likely to be useful so hopefully they trade Anderson - This would also be Caufields natural side if they want to move him to the right side
Note: This is probably the weakest position on the team

Lacking a true number 1 - will need to have suzuki or dach take a big leap in the next 4 years - probably need both of them - or else we are looking at a prospect/trade/signing for that number 1 spot

If the above in bold hit close to expectations , Habs are in great shape

I expect Hugo to dangle some kids along the way for immediate young help

Michkov if he is the guy is a huge bonus down the road
