Season Ending State of the Union / Expansion Draft Thread

I see it as such:

The league is flooding the draft with high priced talent. Some are still worth their contracts. This will make it difficult to put Price in the mix. They can ice a playoff contender immediately if they play the cap right and Price kinda messes that up. Better two goals at $9m than Price plus backup at $12-13m.

I don't see them taking Price with all the talent available up front and D.

You're assuming she prefers to remain in Montreal than go home. I'm not. It may very well be the case but the statement is highly ambiguous and I believe intentionally.
Definitely assuming... and it was definitely ambiguous. I'm just playing the odds, considering she seems to be speaking to "Habsnation."

The side deal I’m expecting to happen is Seattle selecting Kilorn from TBay and flipping him to Habs..for what I don’t know

Which I assume are Hab fans. If they were actual friends they'd likely call her, or she'd have just replied to them and not posted a blanket statement.
Sure there were intrusive habs fans but there were also people she knows personally. I do not think she tweets without some people she knows also DMing her.

All I'm saying is things aren't always as they seem and this may be one of them.

Sure, I'm just saying what it seems to be.

For good karma, I'm instantly skipping over any Nirvana/Alice in Chains/Pearl Jam/Soundgarden/Hendrix songs on my Spotify list until Wednesday

Temple of the Dog
Screaming Trees
Foo Fighters

I can't avoid Seattle on my Playlist

They'd be stupid to not take Yanni Gourde.
I don’t think Palat & Gourde have the market gravitas of Killorn - Seattle needs to find avenues to convert some of the high cap hit talent being exposed into multiple young + low AAV assets they need to balance out the roster due to hard cap ceiling
