Allen has the best bang for the buck contract for a solid backup, hence, the desire to protect him

IMO , I dont see how 31 waves his trade clause to be exposed ......if he had no interest whatsoever to go closer to home

Its a slim chance but he had to approve this

He's got 38 GP, so yeah, locking in 10m is not a bad thing. Even behind Price, he's getting 30-40 games a year, and can always demand a trade if he wants out in a year or two.

Seattle’s exclusive window w UFAs closes tomorrow prior to draft - if they are not signed by the deadline they need to compete w the market for the player on UFA day
