Sinclair/Ballys/ESPN/TNT ... broadcasting access, tips and notes

Baseball blackout rules are somehow worse than hockey. I like to follow the Jays and I am an mlb tv subscriber. Somehow the mlb schedule Gods gave the Jays a four game opening series vs Baltimore followed by a three game series vs the Nationals so I’m blacked out here in North Carolina for seven consecutive games to start the mlb season despite paying a full freight subscription on mlb tv. And to add insult to injury MASN isn’t even offered to YouTube TV subscribers to even add that channel Ala Cart to your home tv lineup to jump through their blackout rule hoops…how can any company push and expect their fans to believe their BS slogan of “follow every game of your favorite out of market team” when they do this shit?

You can “follow” every game … on the audio feed. They didn’t say “watch.”

I couldn't disagree more. Baseball--especially since the introduction of the pitch clock and other rule tweaks and the arrival of a new generation of superstar players--is awesome right now. #LFGM

I wish we had a MLB team in NC...I would find ways to go watch some games over the course of a long season here, but driving 4-5 hours to Baltimore or Washington DC is not my bag.

I’ll scratch my baseball itch with the Bulls. This is the last season for the Mudcats in Zebulon too, they’re moving to Wilson next year.

It was a joke. I watch baseball every single night during the season. I have season ticket’s in Fayetteville and I played in the minors myself. It was a joke on how baseball used to, and in many cases, Is still viewed by many today. The pitch clock has helped a lot. Not having to wait for Bryce Harper to adjust his batting gloves 19 times before each pitch has made a big difference
