Slaf would be a KK gamble pick in the top 3 , but he is built like a tank .
4 down you consider him , but can he be a 30+ goal scorer in this league

It is 18.5to win draft lottery but 25.5 percent chance. Teams not in The bottom eleven are unable to move up the ten spots. Should one of those teams win lottery (7%) the last place team is awarded first pick.

Lets say #12 wins the lottery .....they move up to #2
Habs automatically get 1 , and the rest of the lottery plays out as normal ?
Have they started to put a shovel in the ground ?

I’m not 100% clear on that. I was looking at various sources sources which stated if the 12th place team wins lottery for first pick it remains with last place team. I would assume that means they get The 2nd.
I do know our odds are 25.5 for first 18.8 for 2nd and 55.7 for 3rd according to tankathon.

Not sure Nemec is "safe". Cooley, on the other hand, I'd be 100% comfortable taking.

That's the fucking difficult thing with the draft.
How do you evaluate Nemec, playing in the Slovakian first division (a terrible caliber of play), compared to Slafkovsky, playing the Finnish elite league without getting that much ice time, compared to Cooley playing a lot in the USNDP?
It's so difficult.
If we were drafting 3rd, and Wright + Cooley were gone, I'd seriously think about trading down.

That would be a game changer for this franchise. That plus our D prospect pool plus no more bad contracts when they will be in their early 20s. We would bring back the glory of the old days!
