Latvia wins in OT!

First time Latvia has ever won two games in the preliminary round at the world juniors.

It’s a team full of 16 and 17 year olds. Crazy.

Switzerland beats Kazakhstan 3-1 to earn their berth into the quarterfinals.

Kazakhstan will play Germany in the relegation game.

Finland beats Latvia 3-0 and now await tonight's Canada-USA game to see if they finish second or third.

Latvia finishes fourth.

Sweden beats Czechia 4-2 to finish first in Group B, setting up a quarterfinal match-up against Latvia.
