Team Canada/2025 World Juniors

Some of the same trends still creeping into Canada's play... missing the net a lot, trouble clearing the D zone.
 
I mean, they went out of their way to leave the high end talent home so they could have a roster that mirrors an NHL roster because, who the fuck knows why.

Now suddenly they're having a hard time getting offense going? And they're benching one of their best forwards?

Hockey Canada's going to fully deserve this shit sandwich they're cooking up.

I don't even think they have those hard working grinder types. Looks like a bunch of Dvoraks out there

They have one in Cole Beaudoin. He was drafted in the 20s a few months ago, but three players in the top-10 couldn't get an invite until some players in camp got injured.

It's more about, this is a short tournament with a lot of players that never played with each other for the most part. You want the most skill possible to compensate for the lack of chemistry.
