More complete denial by coaching and management.
Yeah, the team just didn't appear to be very good anyway. And the Russians aren't even around. It's ok, you can blame the refs if you want too, but that team sucked.
Cameron is a goof. Whether the last penalty was deserved or not, I would have gone postal on the refs. I would have respected it.Ridiculous.
Cameron was a deer in the headlights the whole tournament. That challenge was ridiculousCameron is a goof. Whether the last penalty was deserved or not, I would have gone postal on the refs. I would have respected it.
Cameron seems like an old school coach. I'm not saying he is ineffective in all coaching situations-obviously he ha the trust of some people. But I wonder if the team would be better served with a guy who comes at it with a newer style approach, like a Jon Cooper-type. You'd think there would be some around. Having Cameron there may smack of an old boys network.Cameron is a goof. Whether the last penalty was deserved or not, I would have gone postal on the refs. I would have respected it.
The answer is in the roomGood ol Hockey Canada, "We have no regrets, we wouldn't have done anything different, it just didn't work out, it's not our fault." What a leadership group.
Boycotting Tim's is easy. Their products are garbage.you don't understand the term "loco parentis"
as for the rest of your Damien Cox induced rant, I will leave it to you to start the boycott, and stand outside Tim Horton's screaming down with Hockey Canada, no donuts for you
Denial is the default position of all HC execs, on and off the iceMore complete denial by coaching and management.
Canada acts like entitled bitches at these tournaments, whining about every call. The fact of the matter is that biased reffing or it, Canada should be able to annihilate all comers. Every game should be a blowout victory and anything less than that is a pathetic failure.Cameron is a goof. Whether the last penalty was deserved or not, I would have gone postal on the refs. I would have respected it.
Yup - the Al Murray who was canned by LAK for terrible drafting record, hired by Hockey Canada as the Head of scouting and got a detailed viewing of Point & Cirelli from the time they were 13 yr olds, so when they became draft eligible and he was TBay head scout….

Murray was a Stevie Y guy not Brisebois. TT was an MB guyHere's a question I've mulled over more times than I'd ever like to admit:
How did Al Murray get hired after Timmins, draft those two, but still get fired before Timmins did?
because Timmins is the ultimate cockroach asskisser, he has an amazing ability to convince others not to fire him. He would have gotten the last lifeboat seat on the Titanic and survived the LusitaniaHere's a question I've mulled over more times than I'd ever like to admit:

I didn't. I never do. But when I read comments about how Canada got screwed over by the refs as an excuse for losing I know right away it's bullshit.I thought you didn't watch?
Bergevin has never been big on firing people in general. Here's a question I've mulled over more times than I'd ever like to admit:
