Yeah, I had Google Play Music for a couple of years and loved it. The interface was excellent and intuitive. When they decided to merge with YouTube Premium, I did the switch for a couple of months and found the interface to be amateurishly bad in comparison (at that time, don't know if they've improved it or not). In fact it was so annoying I switched over to Spotify which is definitely better, though still kind of mediocre. Still using them for now.
 
So... People don't torrent anymore? With how cheap hard drives are, how fast internet is and how smart your devices are... It is super easy and like a moneysaver. You never have to know which service the hot show is on and you know what is trending.


Don't listen to me though as I still pay for cable because sports (PVR is noice) but I am waiting for my buildings IPTV service to get up and running to save some cash.

I think because the streaming services work well enough, no real need to torrent.

The answer is to churn through. Pick each service, use it for a month or two, cancel, and then rinse and repeat. Throw in a random month on Curiosity Stream or something too for a change, and it's all good.

Kanopy for streaming Criterion Channel flicks via your library card is pretty fantastic too.

He's annoying maybe, and I don't know much about his personal stuff but I like him. Smart, entertaining, funny... And now probably a billionaire. He deserves it. I can listen to guys like him talk about anything and enjoy myself just fine. There's an ego there but he's more down to earth than most people with as much money as him.

I hated the idea of him but it turns out he's not so bad if you actually listen to him for a bit instead of just reading headlines or 20 second sound bites. I get the opposite feeling from a Rogan type when I hear him speak beyond the headline sound clips. He's an example of someone who is as dumb and annoying as it may seem as a non-listener.
 
I fucking hate Portnoy and what he represents…he’s made the world a shittier place, just not remotely to the extent Rogan has.

I do know that Portnoy & Barstool seem to be fucking loathed by the more progressive elements of hockey Twitter.

Don’t really know the story behind that though. Don’t know anything about the dude really, and don’t really interact with any Barstool media.
