If this guy is legit, he's probably going to get caught....why do these burner accounts ever follow anyone? Someone smart usually finds patterns in the follows and tracks it back to the owner. If we learned anything from Colangelo it was that massive collars are a staple of anyone's collection of shirts, and to never follow people from your burner account.
 
If reilly is out till the last week or 2 before the playoffs, can he still get a conditioning stint with the marlies for a couple of games before the playoffs start and not have his cap hit count?

He'd have to consent but yes, up to 14 days.
 
But to trade for a top pairing dman, wouldnt the leafs have to part with one of lilly or sandin? Plus a top 9 forward and choice/s?

I like the buff idea posted last week if that is the case.

I think if the other team is in a position where they're okay moving a good defenseman at the deadline, it's probably because there's some extenuating circumstances like cap space, or they're rebuilding, etc. so I doubt it'd take a Lilly or Sandin and think there's no way either are moved.

If you get a high priced defenseman, you're going to need Sandin, Lilly, Robertson the next few years on ELC deals to fill out a good roster.
 
I highly doubt the Leafs would want move those guys, but they would be able to get something really good if they did. Not Georgiev good..
 
Timmy looks to have a 9 game "tryout" coming before the deadline. If he can show he is comfortable in that role I think they may not be as desperate to bring in a RHD as we are being led on

Unless he looks to move Barrie for an upgrade
