High level offensive players have seen their numbers explode the last few seasons (Remember when Jamie Benn won the scoring title with 87 points, 5 years ago? That would have finished tied for 17th last year and)...except for in Toronto, until Babcock was fired.

It really looks like we should expect video game numbers from our superstars going forward.

Fuck Babcock.

Wow, those are crazy numbers. Matthews looks so relaxed out there now. I know I will take some flak for this, but he sorta looks like the best player in the NHL now.

He makes it look so easy, its like he is carrying around a pool cue instead of a hockey stick. Amazing talent.

So what you’re saying is Matthews might score 70 next year and Marner might win the Art Ross.

Obviously, M&M are the youngest on these lists.

Great story from Burke tonight about a rules quiz he used to run in training camp for the Leafs to make sure guys knew/understood the NHL rules.

20 questions... and one guy got 9/20. That guy? Mikhail Grabovski.

Yeah but he'd fight you in the streets with a knife.

Im torn on the Barrie situation. He would be ideal in a second pairing role but with Holl having that all but locked down and Timmy looking comfortable where does that leave him?
