A little bit of good news this morning: Ilya Mikheyev is back on the ice this morning working with Barb Underhill.

First time he's been on the ice since suffering his injury.

4-2-1 (105pt pace) since the break. Starting goalie only played 2.33 of those 7gms.

There is a difference losing to teams like the Habs and Rangers vs a game against the Capitals. Schedule gets a bit tougher in the next month as well. Throwing away points against bad teams in a tough playoff race is absolutely a big deal.

4-2-1 (105pt pace) since the break. Starting goalie only played 2.33 of those 7gms.

And really only game I’m really disappointed with is NYR since the break ended. Yeh the third period was meh against Montreal - but we were still fighting defensively and limiting chances etc in the third.

They got 3 out of a possible 4 points though. So at worst they threw away point.
