The Fantastically Beautiful Joyously Superfun 22-23 Season Celebration Thread

Yeah Tavares came back pretty quick from his oblique and the fact that brodie was kind of a game time decision with his makes me think it wasn't a huge injury either.

So does Dubas stand pat or make a move and let Muzz come back to the playoffs?

My prediction is still unchanged. He’ll stand pat and avoid spending a penny of Muzz’s LTIR space, in the faint hope he can use it to sneak Muzzin into a couple of games towards the end of the regular season.

The only thing that’ll change that is if he’s told clearly and unambiguously by Muzzin and/or his doctors before the trade deadline that he won’t be playing again this year.

My guess is the late Feb re-assessment is to figure out if he can play at all this season. Gives dubas a month to work for the right move.

We likely see:
Rielly - Benn (I predicted this but too lazy to look back)
Gio - holl
Sandin - Lilly

Yeah, sounds about right but 4-8 weeks no Brodie still really blows. I'm glad both goalies are coming back.
I mean, it's a huge loss, but also we have great depth on D and this will give Sheldon a chance to see what various players/combos look like with heavier usage. Great audition for some and chance to test out the Benns and Razzes of the world to see if they can handle heavier matchups.

Plus, with our goalies hopefully coming back soon, the timing is okay. for me at least.

Could be. But it was only when they figured out that Sid had this injury and not a conky that he was able to heal and return permanently.
anecdotal so take from this what you want, but when I was struggling with my concussions and PCS, the single biggest thing that helped in my recovery was finding a particular physiotherapist who could reset my vestibular system. up until then I was getting daily headaches for nearly two years. within a couple months my headaches were gone. all to say, there is hope that a proper Dx unlocks the necessary treatment.

D is our deepest position and every team gets injuries so its hard to complain too much.
it's pretty nuts that we've lost our two best defensive d-men on the roster and still have the ability to ice a starting 6 that could, with the exception of maybe Benn, all be in most teams top-fours.

I'm trying to muster up outrage over Robertson being scratched but I'm coming up empty.

So wait, if Clifford and Holmberg are in, who's out other than Robertson?

I'm all for a package of kerfoot, engvall a pick and now including Robertson for ROR and a dman just to shore things up. I'm keeping Holl now for depth purposes.

Who's an underrated dman on St. Louis that could be packaged with ROR?
