The Fantastically Beautiful Joyously Superfun 22-23 Season Celebration Thread

Thing is, they’re switching up the bottom six of a fourth overall team. The only red flag was the shit record against the shit teams, but that wasn’t necessarily a bottom six problem. This is a lot of overhaul and arguably missing the mark. I still think they should’ve chased the big fish, pushed everyone down, not been afraid to use Holmberg.
Wait, LOF, is it your opinion that our playoff struggle are due to the "big guns" not showing up, rather than the supporting cast? Any specific type of games within the series that you feel this has been a problem in?

Career PPG

Kaberle: .57ppg
Markov: .58ppg

Playoff PPG:

Kaberle: .38ppg
Markov: .37ppg

Cups Per Career:

Kaberle: 1.0
Markov: 0.0

Markov was better when it doesn't matter. Kaberle better when it mattered.

Kaberle >
It is kinda funny how they were the exact same player.

And please stop reminding us how the leafs helped build the bruins cup run.

Kaberle was poop with the Bruins. Unfairly treated because he wasn't as bad as they say, but he was easily their fans biggest scapegoat as a third pair sheltered D who was fat and mistake-prone at the time.

He was so good they only needed him to play him 16 minutes a game to win it all. A lesser player would have needed 24-25 minutes to impact thee game as much.

I blame it on his obesity. His face got real chubby by the end of his career and he really struggled with endurance.. At least that was the narrative that those in Boston went with.
