Wait, LOF, is it your opinion that our playoff struggle are due to the "big guns" not showing up, rather than the supporting cast? Any specific type of games within the series that you feel this has been a problem in?

Didn’t I just repeat what I’ve said all along?

Should’ve gone for Meier or some other big fish like him, adding him to the top 6 gives us another big gun and improves the depth going down by bumping out the worst guy (ZAR).

Instead they added ROR who I like, but more as a 3C, leaving the hole at 2LW, but they’re playing him as 2C which results in an out of position Tavares. And without the bumped improvement below, which they actually have downgraded by deleting Engvall.

Kaberle was poop with the Bruins. Unfairly treated because he wasn't as bad as they say, but he was easily their fans biggest scapegoat as a third pair sheltered D who was fat and mistake-prone at the time.

I’m not feeling it anymore. Unless our core 4 go absolutely nuts in the playoffs, I’m not sure I see a real path to victory with that lineup. Anything can happen but I’m not seeing a savage team there.

Maybe Dubie has his final trade done but not finalizing until the last minute so that Boston and TB can’t counter again. I’d probably be thinking along those lines. But Boston clearly isn’t waiting for anyone, and doesn’t need to either.

I hate everything that is going on with the team now. This is another. Now we want to work in a 7th D to be on PP1? The hell are they doing.

They took what should’ve been a simple game plan - get a couple great forwards to knock out your worst ones - and pooped on it by keeping the worst forwards and knocking out better ones. Not to mention losing Sandin for nothing.
