The ****ing Pre-Season/Training Camp Thread (2019/20)

5v5 adj

Rielly 19:16, 53.6cf%, 61.4xgf%
Ceci 19:22, 57.5cf%, 63.1xgf%

Sandin 19:39, 44.3cf%, 42.6xgf%
Marincin 17:03, 47.6cf%, 37.4xgf%

Lilly 18:15, 53.8cf%, 50.1xgf%
Rubins 14:31, 69.4cf%, 67.2xgf%

a little surprised, tbh. I thought sandin-marincin would have had better numbers than Rielly-Ceci tonight.

That's funny, 'cause the twittersphere was shitting all over Rielly-Ceci tonight. Go check that idiot Burtch. lol

Looks like Sandin was getting the tougher comp than Rielly tonight. Ice time against opposition shows their top forwards tonight for Sandin.

It's cute how the broadcast crew is blaming Ceci and Rielly missing assignments defensively on how they are "unfamiliar" with each other rather than their atrocious defensive play.

remember, both are likely playing with the best defense partners (or at least the best skaters and puck movers) of their careers.

I have yet to see a bad play from Ceci in the two games. Rielly looked hungover at the start but came around. They played well.

So anyone catch the part during the intermission around Domingue. He is making 1.1 million however if he passes through waivers then the lightening will be responsible for half... but if they agree to a deal, then tampa could eat about 450 K which is what the leafs could eat with some creative movement

Domingue killed it for Tampa when vasilevsky went down. Is it him, or was it the team in front of him. Domingue could easily play about 25 games...but was he good or was tampa just that good in front of him.

Neuvirth (31): Career 257gms, .910sv% --- Last 2yrs: 29gms, .901sv%
Hutch (29): Career 111gms, .908sv% ----- Last 2yrs: 12gms, .892sv%
Domingue (27): Career 122gms, .907sv% --- Last 2yrs: 45gms, .902sv%

I guess why not?

hopefully a more attractive guy gets put on waivers.

Johnsson - Matthews - Nylander
Hyman - Tavares - Marner
Mikheyev - Kerfoot - Kapanen
Moore - Spezza - Agostino

Rielly - Ceci
Muzzin - Barrie
Sandin - Dermott

the numbers gods like Shore's (+3.0cf, +4.9xgf) and Agostino's (+1.5cf, +1.1xgf) overall impact better than Aberg's (-0.5cf, -1.4xgf), even though they don't score (0.98ap/60 and 1.06ap/60) at a 3rd line level like Aberg (1.27ap/60). If there was a spot open on the 3rd line, I'd give Aberg or Spezza first dibs - and Hyman's injury probably gives one of them that opportunity,

The injuries to Hyman and Dermott are convenient given how many guys are legitimately vying for a spot.

yup.

but man i'm drooling for that healthy lineup, especially given how mikheyev, ceci, and sandin look.
