It was a bizarre, lack of direction, sloppy, panicky deadline for sure. It felt both incomplete and rushed and panicked to rebuild the depth like that with only a couple months left in the season. A sign of a GM that was on edge, doubting himself and letting the pressure get to him.

If he'd just scored here, he'd have prevented the timeline from getting altered the way it did. Boston wins in 5 and then plays Toronto which knocks them out in 6 or 7.
