It's not good.
But it's also not bad.
It's a minor inconvenience at worst. He's a bad 4th liner who is the closest thing the NHL has to being a weapon of mass destruction. Plays 8 minutes a game, throws 3-4 hits, chirps and occassionally assaults someone.

Its not even a bottom 10 deal handed out this offseason IMO, it means very little and he probably does something to get a 20 game suspension anyways, cuz Leaf now.

I’m the #1 Treliving hater around here and I hate the Reaves & Kampf deals with every fibre of my being.
That said, he’s definitely done a fair bit to balance out the other side of the ledger by letting Kerfoot walk and signing Bertuzzi & Domi to good deals.
The Klingberg deal I’m iffy on, but real offense from our back end has unquestionably been an issue for a bit now. As long as Klingberg’s not another Barrie in that he’s a complete gong-show defensively and gets most of his points by cannibalizing Rielly’s power-play minutes.
