I think we can agree that the common denominator with all three deals was a young Dubas overmatched by player agents and/or being a little too player friendly.

I can see his thought process as, well really paying them more just means that I have to work harder to fill out a roster. But I'm a nice guy and willing to work harder if it means my best players are happy.
