The Mother-fucking goddamn Off-season Thread

After mostly ignoring anything Leafy for the last few days I've decided a different coach is an absolute neccesity right off the top.

I can't see any possible way that Keefe will lead these jokers any further than he already has. Something has to happen coach wise. Who is the question. I don't know that answer.

I can live with keeping 16, 34, 44, and 88 and changing up the support staff. Again. With who I don't know, but a different coach would or should have some input on that. Tired of Kerfoot, Yarnkrok, Holl, Simmonds, etc.

Switch out a bunch of those players and a get different coach then give it another shot.

I'm also hoping there is some way to talk Tavares into dropping his no trade deal. But I doubt that happens.

I fucking hate this shit. I just wanna see a good team playing good hockey and finally winning the big prize.

Build that team Dubas goddammit!

Why not?

They almost broke the posts behind Bob in game 2, they lost in OT in game 3, and they lost in OT in game 5 after the refs stole the winning goal and counted a bad one to win it.

I don’t think it gets much closer.

Factor in that had Pittsburg not lost on the last night of the season, Florida would have missed the playoffs completely.
That is really close...

Well, for one, they lost. Not to be too WeHave about it.

Not only did they lose, they lost 4 games to 1 in only the second round.

They won two games in regulation out of 11 in the playoffs.

If they were playing horseshoes instead of hockey, this may count for something

I mean by this logic Tampa was also good enough to win the Cup, if anything better than us since the series they lost in was so much closer.

All but one game was decided by one goal.

Two went to OT where it was a literal coin flip.

One of those was outright stolen by refs.

OT wins are arguably harder to get than regulation wins. They come after an undecided 60 minutes and the pressure piles on to have to score the next one.

TB was definitely good enough to win the cup.
 
Oh and feel free to drop in the nerdies that caused those deserve to win o meters to favor us by more than 70% to win at least three times.
