The Mother-fucking goddamn Off-season Thread

I thought Gregor was an interesting piece for San Jose the last couple of years, surprised they let him go. Probably a reason for it, but still a worthwhile move to bring him in and take a look. Probably a winger, but does have some offensive skill.

Yeah in general i don't mind taking chances on youngish guys who were given tough usage on really shitty teams. They might actually suck but it's really hard to tell in that situation.

Makes sense. Kerfoot and Engvall are both gone, so we need someone to carry on the recent tradition on this team of mediocre wingers who can’t play center being shoe-horned into the 3C position.

Jarnkrok played a whole lotta C on a very good defensive Nashville team for most of his career. When Treliving traded for him the year before last, it was as his #3C, and Jarnkrok did quite well in that role for Calgary in the playoffs. He's averaged 6.3 faceoffs per game for his career at a 48% success rate.

Not quite sure why we never played him there last year. Even though we needed a 3C. Pretty much the first year in his career he hasn't played a good chunk of C.

The fat-headed fuck behind the bench maybe?
