The official NFL thread

I mentioned this on the Habs board, but I don't blame players using whatever little leverage they have to get paid. Tua had some leverage and it got him one of the richest deals in the history of football.

I'm joking around when I'm poking fun at him, but I'm glad he has guaranteed money coming his way.
 
There's two possibly outcomes.

First is, he doesn't actually give a fuck and wants to play until the wheels fall off.

Second is, he "says" he wants to play, but might visit doctors that refuse to clear him and he'll defacto retire while remaining entitled to the majority of the money on his contract. "I want to play, I swear, but I can't find a doctor that'll medically clear me."

Tua could retire today, but then most of the money on his contract gets voided.
 
Firstly, they need to sit his ass against the Bills. They got his number and know all he needs is a little shove now.
