No one knows what it means but it’s provocative. It gets the people going.
But do they have bite? Can they eat corn on the cob?always an interesting decision between someone who's done it before, and the hot new phenom. I do think the job requires a blend of analytics and traditional scouting, though it's essential to understand the numbers. An experienced GM can still lean on an analytics-focused assistant, so all high-quality options should be on the table.
i think Treliving is mildly interesting so good to see the discussion move from "everybody sucks" to looking at track records. Certainly George McPhee has a long one and has had success. Do they really want to hire a 64 year old though? Just say no to the Chiarelli's of the world.
Leafs already know what they have in Pridham and should absolutely take a long look at guys like Tulsky. Gonna be really interesting to see what happens. i think right now i would lean towards young Gm with upside who will bring in an experienced coach.
what do you think the interview process is for?But do they have bite? Can they eat corn on the cob?

There's a change coming to the lineup but it could also buy this core one more year. Really hard to tell rnI feel like this GM with bite ends up trading Nylander for like Travis “ heavy bite “ Konecny and Scott Laughton
